For three days, after dark, some of the city's emblematic courtyards, venues, buildings and monumentsare illuminated in a special way.

During the Santa Eulàlia Festival, light becomes a central feature of a great urban event that shows us a new city, transforming buildings and giving little nooks and corners a special magic.

The Gothic Quarter and Ciutadella Park are the main locations for Llum BCN [Barcelona Light Festival]. Professionals and students from the worlds of architecture, design and art from all over the city take part in this experience. They all apply their knowledge and artistic skills to the project of illuminating a series of courtyards and venues in Ciutat Vella. The park is the scene for a series of creations that can be visited by following a light circuit.
