International community. One more year, Barcelona ICD grows in public and diversity, with visitors from 121 countries.
On Saturday 21st of October, the Barcelona International Community Day celebrated its 4th edition at the Museu Marítim in Barcelona. It was a day that gathered 4,563 visitors, 77% of whom attended for the first time while the rest repeated the experience. This success in terms of public strengthens this initiative by Barcelona Activa aimed at the international community living and working in Barcelona to welcome them to their new city, make their integration easier, inform them of specialized services and boost the business and networking opportunities.
Besides growing in public, diversity has also increased. This year, the attendees to this international meeting that gathers from students to entrepreneurs, researchers to families, came from 121 countries of origin.
This increase in the public joins the 15% growth of exhibitors in this 4th edition as well as a rise in sponsors, where Net Craman Abogados has joined the group led by Banc Sabadell. All in all, a positive balance with which the organization has started working already in the upcoming edition of autumn 2018.
