Film. Visitors to the festival include notable figures such as Richard Linklater, Meg Ryan, Belén Rueda, J.A. Bayona, Malena Alterio and Mikael Persbrandt.
Traditional culture. A historic morning bringing together 230 giant groups and over 600 giant figures to mark 600 years of giants in Barcelona.
Jazz. Nearly ten hours of free concerts at an open-air stage.

Documentary film. Forty documentaries covering a diversity of perspectives, addressing colonialism, the dangers of the digital world and the empowerment of women.
Creativity. Ten hours with an exclusive, free programme of exhibitions, art, design, live music, talks, workshops and gastronomy.
Early music. Six concerts, in three of the city’s most fascinating medieval buildings.
Circus. A Cirque du Soleil classic that’s been revamped to capture the hearts of a new generation of audiences.
Ceramics. The most complete ceramics retrospective to date on Miquel Barceló in Barcelona.
Pop. The only Spanish concert in the global tour known as ‘The Tour: Five Albums. One Night’.

Triathlon. One of the big new features this year is the opening of 80 places for non-professional athletes in the Short distance.
